Rooms are nice, the hotel is so cozy and really nice looking. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helps out anytime you need anything. Stayed for 2 days and would definitelybstay again.
Location was off I-95 in South Carolina, the entire area stunk unlike anything I've smelled before, it was gastly. The room was better. I felt generally unsafe the entire time I was there, the bath wasnt taken care of and still had water left in it, turned dark. Food was fine, if a weird way of serving it (food coupons and actual waitresses/waiters).
Stayed here for the 2017 solar eclipse, in a suite. Bathrooms need attention - old, discolored, and corroded fixtures. Internet was slow. Other than that, a pretty good hotel - clean, comfortable, great service, nice Southern decor. Breakfast is a sit-down meal (still free) instead of a buffet. Higher quality food, but less selection and it's not unlimited. Don't know if I'd ever need to stay the night in Santee again, but this hotel would be a good option if you don't require everything to be brand new.
Right off 95. Came for the eclipse. Restaurant was really good... Had dinner and breakfast included is at the same place... Nice pool. Everything is close by. TV is non hd and shower isn't the best
Stayed at the Quality Inn in Santee SC. My mother was sleeping on the sleeper sofa when she felt something biting her. She pulled the covers back thinking there were ants in the bed. Imagine our surprise when we saw two bed bugs crawling on the sheet. I lift the corners to find the sofa was truly infested with bed bugs!!! We moved to another room that night at 11pm. Needless to say, we won't be coming back next year when our church have it's conference next year!!! Another friend stated they moved because of roaches.......
