We grabbed two rooms here in a pinch and we were definitely displeased. It is a smoking hotel and the both rooms smelled like the inside of an ashtray. Check out is at 11am, we were getting ready at 9:30am and the cleaning lady kept coming and asking is how soon until she could clean the room. We tried several hotels that were all full until just grabbing the next place we saw. In the future I will continue to keep trying name-brand places to staym
Great little motel. Very clean and nice for the price! Don't expect a 5 star hotel but do expect a clean room and a clean bed and very friendly service!
Really enjoyed our stay here. We arrived very late at night, but had already booked the room, so everything was ready. Had a small issue with not having towels the night we arrived, but we let the front desk know and we had more than enough the next night. Also had a small issue with hot water, but after talking to the front desk we figured it out and didn't have a problem. Definitely older, but so quiet, so accommodating, and clean. I'd choose to stay here over and over rather than one of the franchise hotels. I can't begin to explain how refreshing it was to be in a hotel and NOT hear every conversation or bump or thud from the other guests. You'd think you were the only ones there, and they were fully booked.
Hosteled during the 2017 Solar eclipse weekend. Great beautiful little place, especially if you want an honest hospitable stay. The owner has a great souther spark; got to say one of the most loving souls I've met. Even during a crazy busy weekend everyone of the staff remained attentive and incredibly sweet. would highly recommend. kind regards
They have a very very friendly office staff. They also have a groundskeeper who was very courteous who is doing grounds work and had his move our car so it wouldn't get dirty which was very considerate. The only problem that we could see was that the pool was not working at the time that we visited during the solar eclipse. The price for the room tonight was very reasonable considering the solar eclipse event.
