Like so many rest areas in the South it has some toilets, some brochures, some vending machines, some picnic tables, and space to walk around before getting back in the car. I was here late so I'm not sure if there are people to help with directions or recommend places to stop. As a welcome center on one of the main entry points it was not impressive.

The welcome centers are always my favorite places to stop and take a break. Clean, well lit, safe.
Stopped here for restroom break with the kids on our way to Massachusetts. It was clean and neat.
Driving southbound to Florida. Stopped off to use the restroom at 4:30 am. Only 3 stalls open. Only 1 with a half roll of toilet paper. Every trash receptical in the stalls was over flowing with used feminine products. Piss all over the seats and floors. Which i can understand as i wouldnt want to come close to those toilet seats. Disgusting. I'm from VA and i thought our rest areas were filthy....VA rest areas are diamonds compared to this rest area. I would've been better off using a truck stop. I'll avoid this one on the way home next week.
